Situated in the centre of Carnforth town, established in 1957, this pharmacy has been caring for the people in and around Carnforth for over 60 years.
Customer service is at the heart of everything we do and our knowledgeable and experienced staff put your needs first, providing services built around you.

As a family-run business, we understand that sometimes life isn’t simple so if there’s any specific needs or requirements your have then just ask our friendly team in store who will be happy to help you wherever we can.

Carnforth Pharmacy offers a variety of products and services however if there is anything particular you would like which you can’t find then let us know and in most cases we’ll be able to source it for you.

Meet the Team

Hi, I’m Ben, the co-owner and the pharmacist at Carnforth Pharmacy. Having worked in most community pharmacy roles over 15 years or so, I was excited by the opportunity to develop the old Carnforth Co-op pharmacy. My vision is for the pharmacy to use our skills and time to promote healthy living and support the community whilst using our cutting edge technology to ensure your safety.

My likes are… cycling, spending time with my family, food and more cycling!

My dream is… to design and construct all my own furniture from scratch and one day learn how to build a bicycle wheel!

Hi, I’m Karen. I have worked in pharmacy for nearly 30 years and I am a dispenser at Carnforth Pharmacy.

My likes are… having fun with my grandchildren and going to bingo with my friends!

My dream is… to own lots of land and rescue lots of donkeys. Oh and buy handbags!!!

Hi, I’m Jenny. I have worked in pharmacy for over 13 years and I am a technician at Carnforth Pharmacy.

My likes are… spending time with the family and going for walks.

My dream is… to have my own safari park!

Hi, I’m Carla. I’m an ex air hostess and new to pharmacy but I am eager to learn and progress in my new role! I am the prescription delivery driver on Tuesdays and Fridays and I also work in the pharmacy.

My likes are… spending time with my family and friends, I also love a spa day!

My dream is… to be relaxing in the Blue Lagoon watching the Northern Lights!

Hi, I’m Kat. I’ve been a dispenser for over 10 years, working for corporate companies and I’m really excited to work for an independent pharmacy who really cares for the community!

My likes are... being in the countryside and cosy movie nights by the fire with my family.

My dream is… to own some land and build our own farmhouse and a small farm!

Hi, I’m Tania. I’m an ex Lifeline installer, which is emergency equipment for people in need to call for help. I am so happy to join the team and meet lots of new people on a daily basis.

My likes are... family and holidays especially the sun.

My dream is… living in a beach hut!

Hi, I’m Emily, co-owner of Carnforth Pharmacy. I do all the purchasing of our gifts and unique products, as well as creating all the social media posts for the pharmacy across Facebook, Instagram and Google.

My likes are... being outside whether it’s walking or cycling, being with my family and friends and being daft with our children James, Violet & Gabriella!

My dream is… to stay in an ice hotel and have a relax in a natural hot spring!

Booked an appointment by email and phone for a yellow fever vaccination. All went very smoothly and had questions answered before attending. Appointment included a private consultation to go through advice on travel wellbeing and covered any risks of having the vaccine. Was very thorough and informative - would highly recommend.

The team at Carnforth Pharmacy are very welcoming, friendly and approachable. They are extremely professional and have been very helpful helping to to resolve a medication issue. I am also really pleased that they are looking at what they can do to be an environmentally friendly business and its brilliant that pill packs can be recycled there! Very impressed with Carnforth Phamacy We are staying in a caravan for a month and My wife needed some medication we didnt know how to sort things Ben the Pharmacist was kind enough to do the online 111 order for her and the panic was over....a wonderful service indeed that we will not forget and well deserved of local support..Thank you Ben and your wonderful team at Carnforth!

I have had two flu vaccinations at this pharmacy. They are the best vaccinations I have ever had - hardly felt anything at all. This pharmacy offers a polite, very helpful and obliging service despite the pressures of the covid 19 pandemic. Will always use in the future.
