Situated in the centre of Carnforth town, established in 1957, this pharmacy has been caring for the people in and around Carnforth for over 60 years.
Customer service is at the heart of everything we do and our knowledgeable and experienced staff put your needs first, providing services built around you.

As a family-run business, we understand that sometimes life isn’t simple so if there’s any specific needs or requirements your have then just ask our friendly team in store who will be happy to help you wherever we can.

Meet the Team

Hi, I’m Ben, the co-owner and the pharmacist at Carnforth Pharmacy. I believe that there is great potential within community pharmacy to do so much more than has traditionally been done in your average pharmacy. My vision for the pharmacy is to develop each of our staff to their full potential so that we can use our individual and collective skills to promote healthy living and support the needs of our community. To help make this a reality we use also cutting edge technology to give you the best service and ensure your safety.

My likes are… cycling, spending time with my family, food and more cycling!

My dream is… to design and construct all my own furniture from scratch and one day learn how to build a bicycle wheel!

Hi, I’m Karen. I have worked in pharmacy for over 30 years and I am a dispenser at Carnforth Pharmacy.

My likes are… having fun with my grandchildren and going to bingo with my friends!

My dream is… to own lots of land and rescue lots of donkeys. Oh and buy handbags!!!

Hi, I’m Jenny. I have worked in pharmacy for over 15 years and I am a registered technician at Carnforth Pharmacy.

My likes are… spending time with the family and going for walks.

My dream is… to have my own safari park!

Hi, I’m Carla. I’m an ex air hostess joined the pharmacy in 2022. In addition to dispensing prescriptions, I also am a qualified phlebotomist (to take blood samples) and aural examiner (to check for and remove ear wax). I am also the prescription delivery driver on Tuesdays and Fridays.

My likes are… spending time with my family and friends, I also love a spa day!

My dream is… to be relaxing in the Blue Lagoon watching the Northern Lights!

Hi, I’m Kat. I’ve been a dispenser since 2010, first working for corporate companies and I’m really excited to work for an independent pharmacy who really cares for the community!

My likes are... being in the countryside and cosy movie nights by the fire with my family.

My dream is… to own some land and build our own farmhouse and a small farm!

Hi, I’m Karen and I am new to pharmacy work. I have worked in care settings for most of my life.

My likes are... I enjoy running a ladies walking group, watching live music, going to the theatre and concerts and socialising with my friends and family.

My dream is… to win the lottery and to be able to live somewhere warm and sunny!

Hi, I’m Miranda, I have worked in community pharmacy for 18 years! I have been a dispenser since 2018.

My likes are... spending time with my family, enjoying lovely catch ups with my friends and, of course, shopping!! I also love enjoying relaxing spa days.

My dream is… retire early and travel the world!

Hi, I’m Emily, co-owner of Carnforth Pharmacy. I do all the purchasing of our gifts and unique products, as well as creating all the social media posts for the pharmacy across Facebook, Instagram and Google.

My likes are... being outside whether it’s walking or cycling, being with my family and friends and being daft with our children James, Violet & Gabriella!

My dream is… to stay in an ice hotel and have a relax in a natural hot spring!
